2. Purpose of processing
Personal data collected through the forms on this website is used to: (a) manage and respond to information and quote requests; (b) maintain the commercial relationship with customers; (c) send commercial communications where express consent has been given.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on: (a) the performance of a contract or a pre-contractual request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); (b) compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR); (c) the legitimate interest in managing the commercial relationship (Art. 6.1.f GDPR); (d) the data subject's consent for commercial communications (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4. Data retention
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and, in the event of a contractual relationship, for the duration of the contract plus the applicable legal retention periods.
5. Recipients and data processors
No data will be transferred to third parties except where required by law. We use service providers acting as data processors under contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, in the following categories: (a) web hosting and cloud functions provider (based in the European Union); (b) transactional email delivery provider (based in the United States, adhering to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); (c) artificial intelligence services provider used for the automatic quote form, described in the next section. 6. Artificial intelligence processing (AI quote form)
Our quote form offers an "AI" option in which the free text entered by the user is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence service provider for the sole purpose of automatically extracting the structured shipment data (origin, destination, goods, weight, volume, etc.). The provider acts as a data processor under contract, does not use the data to train its models, and retains it only for the time necessary to process the request. We recommend not including personal data or confidential information that is not necessary for the quote. Use of the AI quote form is voluntary: the user always has access to an equivalent manual form that does not send data to any AI provider. The legal basis for this processing is the data subject's consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by clicking the "Analyze" button.
7. International transfers
Some of our data processors may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), specifically in the United States. Such transfers are carried out with appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, through adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Rights of the data subject
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction and the right to be forgotten by writing to webinquiry@movilpaqlevante.es, enclosing a copy of your ID document. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Security
MOVILPAQ LEVANTE S.L. has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access.
