No. We offer it as part of our logistics service. Just tell us you want to insure the cargo and we take care of everything: coverage, certificate and claims management if needed.

What if my cargo has a very high value?

For high-value shipments we arrange a tailored quote with the insurer. We give you the cost before shipment so you can decide. No obligation.

Do I need insurance if the carrier already has liability?

Yes. Carrier liability is very limited by law. For maritime cargo, for example, the shipowner is liable for about €2.50 per kilo. If your cargo is worth €50/kg, 95% of the value is not covered without your own insurance.

What does it cover?

All-risk insurance covers physical loss or damage to your goods during the entire transport: theft, breakage, wetting, contamination, fire, accidents and sinking. It applies the Institute of London Underwriters conditions (ICC-A), the broadest available.

Door to door

Coverage starts when goods leave your warehouse and ends at final delivery. It includes inland transport, port handling, main carriage and distribution.

Immediate or tailored cover

For most shipments, we activate coverage immediately and deliver the insurance certificate with your shipping documents. For special operations (high value, restricted destinations, sensitive cargo), we request a tailored quote from the insurer.

Claims management

If something goes wrong, we handle everything: surveyor at destination, claims documentation, communication with the insurer and follow-up to resolution. You don't have to do anything.

Why do you need insurance?

Carrier liability has very low legal limits: about €2.50/kg for maritime, €25/kg for air and €10/kg for road. If your cargo is worth more per kilo — which is usually the case — the difference is not covered without transport insurance.
