Vessel Chartering
Vessel chartering is the solution for cargo operations that cannot be accommodated within regular liner services: volumes that exceed what a scheduled service can absorb, routes without direct coverage, shipments requiring a full vessel, or urgent situations where flexibility is decisive. We work with a network of brokers and vessel operators to analyse the feasibility of each operation and negotiate the most appropriate freight conditions for the client.

Feasibility analysis
Before starting any negotiation we assess the cargo characteristics, route, loading and discharge ports, available dates and existing alternatives in the spot charter market.
Freight negotiation
Through our broker network we access vessels available in the market and negotiate charter party conditions: freight rate, laytime, loading and discharge terms, and product-specific clauses.
Loading supervision
We coordinate the presence of a surveyor at the loading port to verify cargo condition, hold conditions and compliance with the agreed stowage plan.
Laytime and demurrage
We manage the calculation and settlement of laytime, demurrage and dispatch, with complete documentation to avoid subsequent disputes.
Charter documentation
We prepare and review chartering documentation: charter party, Bill of Lading, NOR (Notice of Readiness) and other documentation required by the shipowner and port.
Broker network
We work with brokers specialised in the main segments (dry bulk, tankers, general cargo) with access to vessel positions worldwide and up-to-date spot market knowledge.
